Our Services

TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEYS

We offer detailed and accurate topographical surveys, whether on natural land or a man made environment. A topo survey will have many uses, picking up changes in land elevation, gathering vital information allowing the client to see a clear picture of the land prior to any planned work.

SITE SETTING OUT

Setting out data that is extracted from drawings, designs and plans onto the surface of the ground. From large civil engineering projects and housing developments, down to small sites and highway maintenance. Setting out requires precision and planning.

VOLUME / QUANTITY SURVEYS

Whether it's calculating the volume of stone or working out how much earth needs removed from site. Volume and quantity surveys are vital to provide essential information throughout all phases of a project.

AUTO CAD

We offer detailed drawing from buildings to land surveys in AutoCAD format or printed for site viewing and distribution

Drone surveys

Using the falcon 8 we can scan your whole site and produce a high quality accurate data set where we can calulate quantities and create topographical drawings

3D Scanners

3D scans produce a highly accurate detailed image of your rooms and buildings. working with this data we can produce a detailed drawing of floor plans and wall details

Dynamic Plate Testing/CBR

We can provide dynamic plate testing and CBR ratings, with GPS locations. To make sure your ground is suitable for your works. Using the light weight deflectometer we can do more tests in less time than a usual CBR and we can get in hard to access places, such as trenches or between buildings.

HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYING

From ascertaining just the footprint of a structure or a building to measuring internal walls and ceiling heights. A measured building can capture a lot of detail and can help the client better understand the layout and dimensions of what they are dealing with. This data is then usually presented to the client with the use of AutoCad

MONITORING & DEFORMATION SURVEY

Monitoring surveys can provide vital information on the movement of structures building and also the natural environment. We can present accurate and detailed measurements which can pick up any movement or changes allowing for the correct course of action to be taken. From coastal erosion surveys to precise leveling and movement monitoring.

Percolation tests

we offer percolation tests to determine the water absorption rate of soil in preparation for storm water discharge and foul water soakaways.

MEASURED BUILDINGS & STRUCTURES

Much like a topographical survey on land, a hydrographic survey will try and pick up the depths of the body of water which is being surveyed, as well as picking up the water volume and the features of the land that lays beneath the waters surface. The logistical challenge imposed by working in water is overcome by the use of the latest available technology (Z-Boat).

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS

Accurate survey at an early stage can precisely map above surface features and topography to give a three dimensional picture of human activity and land use. This information can then be analysed to provide potential targets for geophysical survey execution. Gps survey equipment can be used to accurately map field walking surface finds over large areas to provide concentration data for site identification. Leica Total Station can be utilized at excavation stage to map the archaeological features and small finds as they are uncovered, providing an unparalleled site recording method. Depth and position data can be digitally stored for in depth analysis of the preserved stratigraphy. The preservation of several trenches or test pits can be simultaneously achieved. This capability can be particularly valuable on multi period sites where overlying later period archaeology can be accurately recorded before its necessary removal and ultimate destruction.
